I bought a folding board. Now, before you decide what I am, the folding board folds a shirt in about four seconds. I measured this. I don't know why I measured it, but I have a number, and the number is four.

You lay the shirt down, you fold it into thirds, and it's done. It's even. Both sides. That's the part I keep coming back to, that it's even, because I have been folding shirts for forty years and mine were never even, and I didn't know that until I had a machine that told me.

My wife asked why I'm still doing them one at a time. And I said, the board is for the shirts that need it. And she said, well, the board folds them. And I said, yes, but I'm in charge of the board now. And I'm right, and the shirts are folded, and they're even.

I'm using it for the socks. It's not designed for socks. The folds come out even. Even is the point.

Last night there was one sock left. And I folded it on the board, first. Before I stopped. And the laundry is done, and it takes exactly as long as it always takes now, and that's not a complaint, that's just the system.
